Am 26. März 2009 stellten Upgrade! Munich und lothringer13/spiegel eine neue Kompilation kurzer Kunstvideos von Münchner KünstlerInnemn vor. Die DVD wurde im Rahmen eines Projekts des Upgrade! International Netzwerkes konzipiert. Die erste international Screening fand am 21. Mai 2009 beim renomierten Medienkunstzentrum Eyebeam in New York City als Teil der 10. Jahresfeier des Upgrade! New York statt.

Jetzt, von 18. Oktober - 21. November 2009, wird die DVD in einer längeren Ausstellung im lothringer13/spiegel gezeigt. Wir freuen uns, auch die aktuelle Videokunst-DVD von Upgrade! Vancouver zeigen zu können!

Nachher werden die DVDs in das lothringer13/spiegel-Archiv und in die spiegel-Videothek aufgenommen und zu sichten bereitgestellt werden.

 In October 2009 Upgrade! Munich presents:

Video Art DVDs

from Upgrade! Munich

and Upgrade! Vancouver

On March 26, 2009, Upgrade! Munich and lothringer13/spiegel premiered a new DVD compilation of short art videos made by Munich artists. The DVD is part of a project conceived and implemented by the Upgrade! International network to exchange and exhibit video art compilations among different nodes of the network. The first international screening of the DVD was at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Upgrade! New York at the Eyebeam Art and Technology Center in New York.

Now, from 18 October – 21 November 2009, the videos will be shown in a longer exhibit at the lothringer13/spiegel here in Munich. We are pleased to be able to show "Vancouver Fraction," the video art compilation from Upgrade! Vancouver, in the exhibit as well.

After the exhibit the DVDs will become part of the lothringer13/spiegel archive and will be available for viewing in its video library.
